How to use a nullifier ?

We have a special item in this game which is unique for us. Only tohaa has this baby. no. sorry not anymore. Also onyx sectorial just got it. well not many options they have still like us. ok. lets continue.

What does a nullifer do. I will evaluate sentence by sentence.

 By spending a Short Skill or ARO, the user places a Nullifier Marker on the game table to represent this piece of Equipment.  

So, by spending a short order, we need to leave the nullifier, somewhere on our movement line. if we are standing still, we can leave it somewhere in 4 inch. in aro, we can leave it to a point where our marker touches, we need a base contact.. in the requirement section, it notifies clearly that you need LOF to use it.

• " Nullifier Markers are not considered deployed until the Conclusion of the Order. "

so. if even we use it in ARO, we will get the first impact for sure.

Here where sakiel with nullifier shines. ( well... if we ever take a one. ) with a mate he already has he can leave the nullifer to the ground and can use the mate to cancel "spotlight". ( lets assume)

after the nullfier is on the ground. no more hacking attempt can come from now on. Our precious Neema in the same link will be safe for now.

• " The Area of Effect of a Nullifier is its Zone of Control (8 inch radius). " 

That is cool and enough. You can put all the troops in one link in such a diameter. they will be safe from all comtech attacks now.

• Inside the Area of Effect of a Nullifier troopers cannot declare the use of Hacking Programs, Technical Weapons, Comms Attacks, or Sepsitor, applying the effect of an Idle in such situation.
• Moreover, troopers, weapons, or pieces of Equipment inside of the Area of Effect of a Nullifier, cannot be targeted by any Hacking Program, Technical Weapons, Comms Attacks or Sepsitor.

Nullifier is a really strong defence but also good for offence.

lets check with an example. You can use a kaauri to leave a nullifier for your defensive link. Lets assume gaoreel sniper, sukeul hmg and kamael sniper establishes the link.

there is a 5man link of ghulams. 3 forward observers, one sniper and one doctor. You can face it any time. Ghulams flash pulse attack is very strong since they have wip 14 + link and range bonuses. But now you forfeit these attacks and you can concentrate on the sniper!!! especially unexperienced players will see that their attacks will be idle instead suprisingly, if they attempt doing that still.

mimetism + cover + bad ranges for rifles will make it more harder for your opponent to attack back with rifles. if he can use wits doing that.

One of the clipso options have the nullifier.  It starts the game in the middle of the game. For which purpose can we use her ?

here are the ideas. Imagine that you marched with Gorgos, getting closer to your clipso. If gorgos has the mate and bomb at the same time, he is very safe now. He can use the chaksa to guard a dangerous spot and now there is the clipso with nullifer inside of his zone.

When ever a hacking attempt comes, use the mate and get rid of the attack however use the clipso and put a nullifer if you can luckilly see the target in ARO. Better not risking and putting the nullifier as soon as possible before the orders finished.

after nullifier is down, the most criticised Gorgos tag has become the most dangerous one now. Unhackable Tag with a chance to eliminate attacks. he can use a hacking type attack that the bomb provides. He is in his good range for a spitfire with a chaksa guard.  Think about it.

Who else has the nullifiers. Sukeul has it. Our hero sukeul is one of the most powerful attacking pieces in the game. Linked k1 combi or forward observing with a mimetism is very strong. this not the main subject an other days' topic, so lets continue with what you can do with it.

Sukeul forward observer can be the mission maker and protector for the main HI infantry in the link. Ectros hmg for instance can be a good candidate. When you realise that , an attack can be coming from the hackers, ( maybe you got so close to mid table) make her the link leader and use one nullifier. Now you can continue killing things with your ectros more safely.

These days people are doing so much economy and using cheap flash pulsing rems. nullifiers let our links dont care about them at all. so a 3points warcor can not troll us at all.

My favorite nullifer bringing tool is the cheap kaauris. they give you order, deployment defence and they have nullfiiers. always take one, if you will establish a defence trio on your deployment.
